ELAN VALLEY TRUST IN-BYE MANAGEMENT PLAN
Published
Buyer
Description
The Welsh Water Elan Trust (more commonly known as the Elan Valley Trust), on behalf of the Elan Links Landscape Partnership, wish to appoint a contractor to produce an In-Bye Management Plan for the Elan Valley Trust Estate. (700ha) Working with farmers to produce a strategic management plan for this resource, represents a significant opportunity to identify ways of better managing these fields for multiple objectives in the future. The management of in-bye fields is subject to the needs of the farm holding and influenced by Glastir management agreements, SSSI designations etc. and there is not at present a strategy for managing this resource as a coherent whole. The work is being funded through the Welsh Government “Nature Networks Fund” and as such all work will have to be completed and invoices submitted by 30th September 2022.
