Description

The Digital Hub Development Agency (DHDA), the Contracting Authority, is seeking to establish a Multi-Party Framework Agreement for Minor Works for suitably qualified and experienced Building Contractors on foot of an initial contract for remedial works to various unoccupied buildings across the Digital Hub Development Agency campus. The works that are subject to the competition will involve interaction with protected and listed structures, with all proposed works requiring adherence to preservation best practices. A summary of the works is listed below, please note this a non-exhaustive list: - Installation of external supporting steelworks and remediation of existing supporting steelworks, including installation of internal propping elements. - Timber works include stair restoration/construction, timber floor strengthening and replacement, roof repairs. - Roof repair works including, restoration and new construction. - External facade works include render crack repair, brickwork pointing and cladding installation. - Underpinning to existing historic foundation. There are various other projects which are envisaged under the Framework Agreement, please refer to enclosed documents for further particulars and general description of the works. Note that works are predominantly carried out to unoccupied buildings but there will be a certain amount of works which will take place in occupied buildings.
