Description
The Council is seeking a framework of suppliers for the provision of Road Lighting Materials to be delivered to various Westmorland and Furness depots as listed in Appendix A (see framework Agreement). The framework is proposed to provide the in-house teams and external contractors with the materials required to deliver the ongoing replacement programme. Lot 1: Lot 1 Road Lighting Columns Road lighting columns and illuminated sign posts shall be suitable for installation in all locations within the administrative area of Cumbria and, where applicable, shall comply with the following standards: BS EN 40-1:1992 (2006) Lighting Columns Definitions and Terms BS EN 40-2:2004 Lighting Columns General Requirements and Dimensions BS EN 40-3-1:2013 Lighting Columns Design and Verification – Specification for characteristic loads BS EN 40-3-2:2013 Lighting Columns Design and Verification – Verification by testing BS EN 40-3-3:2013 Lighting Columns Design and Verification – Verification by calculation BS EN 40-5:2002 Lighting Columns Requirements steel lighting columns BS EN 40-6:2002 Lighting Columns Requirements for aluminium lighting columns PD 6547:2004+A1:2009 Guidance on the use of BS EN40-3-1 and BS EN 40-3-3 BS EN 1991-1-4:2005+A1 UK Lot 2: Lot 2: LED Luminaires The luminaire shall meet the requirements of; • BS EN 60598-1:2015+A1:2018 Luminaires. General Requirements and Tests • BS EN 60598-2-3:2003+A1:2011 Luminaires. Particular Requirements. Luminaires for Road and Street Lighting Lot 3: Lot 3: Miscellaneous Road Lighting materials Miscellaneous Road Lighting materials.
