Die App ?natur.digital.bayern? ist seit Juli 2023 in den Appstores verfügbar. Es ist eine Karten-App zur Besucherlenkung und Umweltbildung, welche in Zukunft noch interaktiver gestaltet werden soll. In einem ersten Aufschlag wurde ein Redaktionssystem (Content Management System; CMS) entwickelt, welches die Grundlage für die App/Web Anwendung zu Umweltbildung und Besucherlenkungskonzepten darstellt. Das CMS ist im Wesentlichen mit Steckbriefen befüllt, beinhaltet aber auch einen Redaktionsplan für schaltbare News. Zudem gibt es noch weitere (customized) Möglichkeiten der Datenaufbereitung und Analyse. Ziel dieses Erstellungsauftrages ist die fachliche Weiterentwicklung der nativen App (Android/iOS) natur.digital.bayern, was teilweise die Überarbeitung des CMS natur.digital miteinschließt, sowie die technische Betreuung und Pflege der App- und Webanwendung (CMS, Drupal 10.2.2) natur.digital.bayern.
