Consultance services reg. real time stability assessment of electric power systems

Description

DTU wishes to acquire consultancy service regarding ongoing and planned research activities concerning real time stability assessment of electric power systems, for a period of three years. Lot 1: DTU wishes to acquire the following consultancy services: 1. Leadership and expert knowledge in two strategic directions for the Center for Electric Power and Energy (CEE). 2. Help CEE acquire and execute total funding of 35,7 million DKK that fulfil one of the key strategic objectives of CEE: Offshore Energy Hubs (Energy Islands). This direction is also completely aligned with the national Danish energy policy. The expert consultant must possess unique fundamental knowledge in this field, especially related to the secure operation of converter-dominated systems. The consultant must assist CEE with research, development and associated training in the field of the Offshore Energy Hubs (Energy Islands) 3. Help CEE acquire and execute new projects in a pioneering new technology area with an identified high potential for funding: quantum computing for power system security and operation. Expected to acquire new funding in the range of 10-20 million DKK. The expert consultant must possess deep technical knowledge in delivering state-of-the-art software platforms for power system security and operation. 4. Offer expert technical advice and training to CEE researchers on these two key research topics 5. Identify possible spinoff and innovative ideas from the research projects and contribute to the initiation of new additional research projects.
