Provision of services to deliver a public engagement project, Championing Heritage and Cultural Custodianship of Wetlands in the Just Transition Territory, Ireland.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE: To capture contemporary perspectives on the cultural and natural heritage of a changing landscape through engagement with people who live and work amongst the wetlands of the JT region. PROJECT AIM: To co-create a durable record of relationships with wetlands at this particular time of transition. Services to deliver this project which shall demonstrate the experiences of communities with wetlands, those who live and work alongside them including personal journeys along the just transition curve from extraction to restoration. Including: A geographer or heritage specialist with academic qualifications in a relevant area, plus experience working with people on the ground to co-create and deliver projects. A journalist with experience in gathering and presenting stories for print and radio, with knowledge of rural and environmental issues, and expertise to record and make podcasts. A photographer/video maker to capture the visual elements of the landscape, the seen and unseen, and the characters of the people. A curator to bring the elements of the project together into a cohesive whole, and to help with logistics and production elements especially with regard to the production of the book, billboards and story-map. And any other expertise deemed necessary by the project team/tenderers to ensure success of the project.
