The National Museums Scotland (the Client) wishes to engage specialist contractor(s) with experience delivering similar projects to deinstall and move a Memorial Pole from the National Museum of Scotland in Chambers Street, Edinburgh to the National Museums Collection Centre in Granton, Edinburgh. These works are part of a broader programme to move the Memorial Pole to the Nisga’a Museum in the Nass Valley in British Columbia. Lot 1: Deinstall of the Memorial Pole and Preparation for Transport All services associated with the safe lowering and movement of the Memorial Pole to the area inside the Museum from where it will be collected. Full details are set out in the procurement documents. Lot 2: Collection and Transport of the Memorial Pole All services associated with crating the Memorial Pole for safe transport, collection of the Memorial Pole from the National Museums of Scotland building and transporting it safely to the National Museums Collection Centre.
