Description
Vestre Viken Hospital Trust is expanding its cancer treatment so that is also includes radiation therapy. The procurement is part of the New Drammen Hospital Project (PNSD), and the planned start-up of the radiation therapy is late 2025. A dose planning system (TPS) and oncology system (OIS) are therefore to be procured for radiation therapy. Telemark Hospital Trust also plans to establish an equivalent department in Skien, which is scheduled to open in 2026/2027. Several other health trusts in the region have or are planning to implement radiation therapy, which will also be covered by the procurement.
