Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council (TMBC) ('The Council') is inviting interested tenderers to present us with revenue generating proposals which carry zero cost to the Council for our Litter & Fly Tipping Enforcement services. Currently the Council has engaged a third-party on a pilot basis to provide services for the investigation & enforcement of littering & fly tipping offences. This includes the issuing of Fixed Penalty Notices for these offences, as well as the investigation of fly tipping offences where evidence is found linking to the potential offender. The current contractor has also been given formal authorisation to take prosecutions where Fixed Penalty Notices are not paid. TMBC Members have agreed to procure the services of a third-party to provide these services on a more formal basis via a procurement process. Key Dates & Timeline for Procurement Tender release: 3rd September 2024 Expression of Interest Deadline: 12:00pm 27th September 2024 Deadline for submission of completed tenders: 12:00pm 4th October 2024 Evaluation: w/c 7th October 2024 Appointment of contractor: w/c 28th October 2024 Contract Start Date - 2nd December 2024 Tenderers interested in this tender must register and express their interest through the Kent Business Portal (registration is free).
