DFID will continue to work across government to deliver shared priorities and to ensure British taxpayers’ money spent on UK Aid reinforces UK interests – creating a safer, healthier and more prosperous world for us all. This includes a renewed emphasis on addressing the climate crisis as a defining challenge of our time that jeopardises progress across the world. DFID wishes to work with framework participants who are committed to ensuring that the best technical development expertise is quickly and efficiently accessible to DFID staff and colleagues across the civil service. The aim is to ensure that the UK development programme is at the forefront of international development best practice. What is ODAPS objectives? To provide technical, programme and risk management expertise to DFID departments and overseas offices and Other Government Departments in the development of Official Development Assistance in six broad areas which map onto the UK aid strategy. This will include but is not limited to: programme design and development, business case development, independent advice/inputs into new and innovative thinking, scoping studies and products and rapid provision of technical teams to deliver outputs and specific requirements where there is a time-sensitive need across the six lots. Call-down contracts will be for no more than 18 months time and no more than GBP 1.5 m financial limit per call-down. Purpose of early market engagement. To inform the market of the upcoming tender for the Official Development Aid Programme Services (ODAPS) framework agreement. The current Expert Advisory Call Down Service (EACDS) framework expires in August 2020. This new framework will be third generation as the current EACDS is the second generation superseding the PEAKS framework. The purpose of the EME is to inform the market of the upcoming tender for the Official Development Aid Programme Services (ODAPS) framework agreement. Note, there are 2 elements to registration which must not be confused with each other: 1) Suppliers must register their interest to PROJ10106 on the DFID supplier portal to ensure they receive all communications and updates (this is not registration to attend the event). 2) Within the profile of PROJ10106 on the portal, there are attachments containing additional documents which contain the link to register for the EME event.
