We are investing in peace, the planet, prosperity, people and partnerships – all underpinned by a focus on quality and having the necessary staff and expertise on the ground. We are tackling the global challenges of our time including poverty and disease, mass migration, insecurity and conflict. Our work is building a safer, healthier, more prosperous world for people in developing countries and in the UK too. DFID will continue to work across government to deliver shared priorities and to ensure British taxpayers’ money spent on UK Aid reinforces UK interests – creating a safer, healthier and more prosperous world for us all. This includes a renewed emphasis on addressing the climate crisis as a defining challenge of our time that jeopardises progress across the world.
