Teagasc is seeking provision of a Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and managed Security Operations Centre (SOC). The managed service must provide a SIEM solution capability that operates on a 24/7 basis via a fully manned SOC, to collate real-time collection and analysis of events from host systems, user identities, security devices and network devices. The solution and service must demonstrate its capabilities for detection and response across a network domain, cohesively protecting Teagasc's digital environment, including network, cloud storage, applications, and endpoints. The SIEM & SOC solution tendered for must: • Detect and respond to threats in line with associated severity and exploitability within Teagasc’s environment, • Increase resilience by learning about the changing threat landscape • Identify and address negligent or criminal behaviour • Derive business intelligence about user behaviour in order to shape and prioritise the development of the platform • Comply with our Data Processing Agreement. • Incident response capability within 30 minutes for Severity 1 incidents • Comply with all Irish and EU regulations This will be a multi-year contract for a duration of three years with two extension options of 12 month’s duration each up to a maximum of five years (at Teagasc’s discretion).
