Description

The University of Salford’s School of Science, Engineering & Environment wishes to procure a new<br />terrestrial laser scanner solution to support a range of research and teaching activities. Applications<br />will include, but are not limited to, measuring forest structure (e.g. extraction of parameters <br />including tree height, diameter at breast height, crown diameter, crown area, and woody volume), <br />monitoring river systems (e.g. estimation of channel/bank characteristics, changes in floodplain <br />sediment storage, grain size), and characterising the built environment (building survey and 3D <br />modelling).
