Description

The Marine Institute is seeking the provision of Underwater Mateable Electrical Connectors (UMEC) and associated cables for the subsea observatory installed in the Galway Bay Marine and Renewable Energy Test Site (MARETS). The afore-mentioned connectors will be used to provide underwater mating/un- mating connectivity between the subsea observatory – referred to as Cable End Equipment (CEE) – deployed in MARETS off Spiddal, Co. Galway, Ireland and surface/subsurface devices or instruments.
