Description

The Framework Agreement will look to include the following range of products — obstetric products and accessories, maternity products and accessories, gynaecological products and accessories and rental of birthing pools. It is anticipated that the initial expenditure for Lots 1, 2 and 3 will be in the region of 10 000 000 GBP in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. The estimated value over the total Framework Agreement term for Lots 1, 2 and 3 is in the region of 40 000 000 GBP. Lot 4 is new, so with have no values to record and we are looking to gather more information at this point. Should include but not limited to: birthing pool accessories, birthing balls, tape measures, foetal dopplers, baby changing mats, nursing cushions. Should include but not limited to: umbilical clamps, umbilical catheters, foetal blood sampling kits, silver nitrate caustic pencils, circumcision devices, midwifery/district nurse bags. Should include but not limited to: various plastic disposable single use instruments such as advanced and optimum vaginal speculums, cervical cell collection brushes, spatulas and applicators, coil removal, long handled scissors, sponge holders, thread retriever for use in IUD's curettes, dilators, amniotic hooks, uterine manipulator, catheters, specimen cups. Assisted reproduction products such as oocyte aspiration filter sets, embryo transfer catheter sets and ICSI, holding pipettes. Collection set for termination of pregnancy, modesty blankets, vacuum assisted devices for both vaginal and caesarean deliveries, fluid collection canisters, perineal massage gel, vaginal moisturiser, sanitary towels or tampons, gynaecological tests for bacterial vaginosis and the detection of amniotic fluid. Rehabilitation devices to aid pelvic floor muscles and also to treat vaginismus, vulval disease and pelvic pain. Precise quantities and initial expenditure are unknown for this lot, however there is an RFI attached to this Prior Information Notice and we are looking to gather more information at this point.
