The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall and the Isles of Silly will be advertising, this autumn, for a provider to become their strategic partner for the delivery, management and development of a victim care network across the two counties. In this case, the Police and Crime Commissioner intends to establish a strategic partnership with a service provider who, in the initial stages of the contract, will take on the management of the victim care supply chain to provide emotional and practical support to victims of a crime of all ages. Over the coming years the Provider will be required to work concurrently to move the current approach to victim care from its current methodology to the strategic vision for the service. It is anticipated that this will be undertaken via a ‘Bi-Modal Supply Chain’ approach. The service will run from 1 April 2021 and the contract will be 10 years. Join us for a pre-procurement engagement session which will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 8 September 2020 between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. followed by individual meetings with interested organisations in the afternoon. What you can expect from the event: presentations on our current service delivery, future service requirements, our vision of a strategic partnership and the proposed commissioning model. The opportunity as a group of interested providers and as individual organisations to ask questions and give feedback on the proposals. If your organisation is interested in attending, please email terence.gibson@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk by 4 September 2020. Further details will then be provided including the Teams log in information. You will be allowed up to a maximum of two spaces per organisation.
