Description

The Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (NDMA) seeks to procure newly manufactured Heavy Machine Gun Mounts (HMF-M) for the Norwegian Armed Forces, calibre .50 (12,7x99mm), Heavy Machine Guns together with spare parts, tools, replacement and other materials through a seven (7) year framework agreement. The HMG-M shall be of a design fit for its’ intended use. NDMA shall require any solution proposed for the mounting of accessories, sights and laser pointer be according to STANAG 4694. The primary purpose for acquiring a HMG-M system shall be to reduce recoil force, minimize weight, stabilize sights and enhance performance through increased accuracy for the weapon system. Furthermore, NDMA requires the participant/tenderer commitment to provide the security of supply for an additional period of twenty years from the HMG-M frame agreement’s last call off under the seven year framework agreement. This security of supply may be regulated in a separate contract. NDMA requires a duly authorized Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) from all interested candidates.
