Prior Information Notice (PIN) for the West Quad, Grangegorman Property Exchange Project.

Please note that this Prior Information Notice is for information purposes only. It is not a call for competition, and no tender documents are available at this stage. The Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA/Agency) has the responsibility for the urban and social renewal of a c.30ha site at Grangegorman, Dublin 7 as defined the Grangegorman Development Agency Act 2005. Since 2006 – along with and on behalf of its statutory stakeholders – the Agency has delivered multiple capital award-winning development projects at Grangegorman. These stakeholders include the Health Service Executive, Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), amongst others. The Agency are publishing this PIN to inform economic operators of our intention to publish a tender competition using the Competitive Dialogue Procedure in January / February 2024. The main location of the service and works is Grangegorman, Dublin 7. In outline, the Property Exchange Project involves the construction of a c.21,000m2 new higher education building – the ‘West Quad’ – on lands owned by the Agency in Grangegorman, in exchange for the title to other lands at Aungier Street, Dublin 2 which are in the ownership of TU Dublin, and are presently in use by TU Dublin. The West Quad building is designed in accordance with general requirements of the Capital Works Management Framework Work Stage (iii) – Tender Action, to the level of detail generally prescribed by the CWMF for projects delivered by the Public Works – Contract Form 2 – Building Works designed by the Contractor. Queries, if any, in relation to this PIN must be submitted through the messaging system on this platform. There is no facility to submit queries on the OJEU platform. Please disregard the date set out under; time limit for receipt of proposals. Proposals are not requested with this PIN.
