Description

The purpose is to establish the provision of legal services to Loreburn Housing Association and its subsidiary Dumfries and Galloway Homes Ltd across various specialisms, which the Association and its subsidiary will draw upon as required by suitably qualified and experienced legal service providers. The contract is for an initial 3-year period, with the option of extending for up to 2 years after that Lot 1: Property/Real Estate generally, Property Investment and Regeneration, Shared Equity, and Factoring and Property Management Property/Real Estate generally, Property Investment and Regeneration, Shared Equity, Conveyancing and Lease work (e.g., new leases and termination of leases), Property Disputes, Contractual Agreements for Title Transfer, Advice on Structuring Property Transfers, quarterly topic-specific training and seminars, and Factoring and Property Management.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Lot 2: Civil Litigation Civil litigation legal services, including but not restricted to, housing management and estate services, rent arrears, recovering possession of properties, general dispute resolution (such as contract disputes or debt recovery), First-tier Tribunal applications, quarterly topic-specific training and seminars, and antisocial behaviour. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Lot 3: Corporate Defence, Claims, and Governance Corporate claims legal services, including but not restricted to, claims against the association (such as personal injury or public liability claims, claims for discrimination, notifiable events, and general insurance claims), quarterly topic-specific training and seminars, and Governance matters.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Lot 4: Employment Law Employment Law legal services, including but not restricted to, contractual matters, legislative and case law update service, staff handbooks, redundancy advice, disputes with employees, team and staff re-structuring, quarterly topic-specific training and seminars, and connected legal work. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Lot 5: Contracts/Procurement Contract and procurement legal services, including but not restricted to, preparing/reviewing contracts, quarterly topic-specific training and seminars, and general procurement advice.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Lot 6: Banking and Finance Banking and Finance legal service, including but not limited to advice on loan agreements, commercial funding arrangements, quarterly topic-specific training and seminars, and treasury related queries..
