Description

Helsingør Kraftvarmeværk A/S (HØK A/S) is planning a renewal of Helsingør CHP (HØK), establishing a biomass-fired boiler which produces steam to the already existing steam turbine. The fuel is expected to be primary wood chips, but other sustainable biomass resources may also be used. The existing CHP plant will still be able to operate and act as back-up for the new plant as long as appropriate. Helsingør Kraftvarmeværk A/S is owned by Forsyning Helsingør Varme A/S (67 %) and I/S Nordforbrænding (33 %). Forsyning Helsingør is serving the inhabitants in Helsingør municipality by supplying electricity, water and heat and ensuring that waste and sewage is taken care of. Nordforbrænding is an inter-municipal waste management company (stakeholders: five municipalities). Complete boiler plant including inter alia day bins, fuel feeding system, feed water system, bottom ash handling, start-up burners, SNCR, sampling and chemical dosing, bottom ash handling, galleries and stairs, insulation and cladding, other auxiliary equipment, electrical installations, I&C, erection and commissioning, training and documentation. Excluding civil works. Complete bag filter system including inter alia ID fan, silencer, silo(s) and transport for fly ash, galleries and stairs, insulation and cladding, other auxiliary equipment, electrical equipment, I&C, erection and commissioning, training and documentation. Complete flue gas cleaning and condensing system including inter alia wet scrubber and/or quench, flue gas condenser, waste water treatment system, stack with continuous emission monitoring system, combustion air humidification, piping, pumps, insulation and cladding, other auxiliary equipment, electrical equipment I&C, erection and commissioning, training and documentation. Excluding are civil works. Complete conveyor and storage system for wood chips including inter alia screening, magnetic separator, electrical installations, I&C, other auxiliary equipment, erection and commissioning, training and documentation. Exluded are civil works.
